East Bengal drawn into Group D of AFC Champions League Two 2026-27

East Bengal FC were drawn into Group D of the AFC Champions League Two 2026-27 in Kuala Lumpur on Tuesday. The draw follows East Bengal’s qualification for the competition’s group stage.
East Bengal secured its place in the group stage with a 4-1 win over Kuwait’s Al Arabi SC in the preliminary round last Wednesday. The club enters the tournament as the reigning Indian Super League champion. This will be East Bengal’s first group-stage appearance in the competition since 2015, when it was known as the AFC Cup.
Group D pairs East Bengal with Jordan champion Al Hussein SC, Iraq Stars League runner-up Al Shorta SC and Oman Professional League champion Al Seeb Club. All three opponents are from West Asia. East Bengal will meet each opponent home and away in a double-leg round-robin league format. The top two teams from the group will advance to the round-of-16.
The group stage is scheduled to begin on September 15 and conclude on December 9. The competition’s final is scheduled for May 15, 2027.
