East Bengal will host North Korea’s 4.25 SC at the Kishore Bharati Krirangan in the final group-stage match of the AFC Women’s Champions League 2026-27 on Saturday, 7 November 2026. The Moshal Girls need a positive result to bolster their chances of progressing to the knockout rounds.

East Bengal’s campaign has been inconsistent so far: they won their opening match but then lost to KSPO FC in their most recent outing. Despite that mixed form, they have accumulated enough points to qualify for the quarterfinals as one of the two best third-placed teams in the group stage. Anthony Andrews has urged his side to regain rhythm by playing innovative, fast-paced attacking football while also tightening their defensive organisation. Maintaining a stronger defensive shape than in recent matches will be a stated priority ahead of the game.

A victory would provide a significant confidence boost for East Bengal before the quarterfinals, whereas a defeat would leave a disappointing end to the group phase. Andrews’ players must produce a standout performance to secure that positive result against a high-quality opponent.

4.25 SC have attracted attention during their debut campaign in the AFC Women’s Champions League and arrive already advanced to the quarterfinals. The North Korean club have dominated domestically for many years and have brought that form to the continental stage, fielding numerous players who have represented the North Korea women’s national team. Their approach in the tournament has emphasised incisive attacking play and ruthlessness in the final third, with the squad seeking a big win to maintain momentum ahead of the knockout rounds.

Both teams report no notable injury issues: Anthony Andrews should have a fully fit East Bengal unit available for the clash, and 4.25 SC are also not dealing with any notable injuries. This will be the first-ever competitive meeting between East Bengal and 4.25 SC. Panthoi Chanu (GK), Sarita Yumnam, Abena Opoku, Adama Alhassan, Astam Oraon, Hitomii Tanaka, Resty Nanziri, Olivia Anonkye, Shilky Devi, Sulanjana Raul, Fazila Ikwaput Yu Son-Gum (GK), Oh Sol-Song, Jong Pok-Yong, An Kuk-Hyang, Pak Song-Gyong, Choe Il-Son, Jon Ryong-Jong, Myong Yu-Jong, Sin Pom-Hyang, Choe Song-Gyong, Ri Su-Yang

Resty Nanziri has yet to score for East Bengal in the two AFC Women’s Champions League matches played so far this campaign. Last season she recorded 13 goal involvements (six goals, seven assists) in 12 appearances, and she will be expected to provide width, clever forward runs and deliveries into danger areas for the Moshal Girls. East Bengal will require greater accuracy from Resty on crosses and shots if she is to pose a major threat to 4.25 SC.

4.25 SC’s young forward Choe Il-son, age 19, won the Golden Ball at the 2024 FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup and has already scored once in the 2026-27 AFC Women’s Champions League. Il-son’s game features intelligent off-the-ball movement; she will look to use those runs and accurate final-third passing and shooting to contribute further for her side.

The match kicks off at 8 PM IST and will be streamed live on FanCode; the AFC Women’s Champions League 2026-27 is available to viewers in India on FanCode.
