Elavenil Valarivan wins silver in women’s 10m air rifle as India pick up second shooting medal at Asiad 2026

Elavenil Valarivan won silver in the women’s 10m air rifle final at the Aichi-Nagoya Asian Games in Asiad 2026.

She scored 252.4 points, finishing behind Japan’s Taichi Hinata, who won gold with 253.0, while South Korea’s Ban Hyojin took bronze. Elavenil had earlier helped India win team silver, adding a second medal to the country’s shooting haul.
