Ellie Scotney to fight WBC featherweight champion Tiara Brown in Arlington on 8 November

Ellie Scotney will face WBC featherweight champion Tiara Brown in Arlington, Texas on 8 November as the co-main event of the MVPW-07 card. Scotney joined Most Valuable Promotions in April 2025.

Scotney, 28, vacated her undisputed super-bantamweight champion status in April and is moving up to 126lb to pursue a second divisional title. "I can't wait for the next chapter to begin at 126lb, where I truly believe the world will see the best of me," Scotney said. "It's time to make more history and become a two-weight world champion." The Londoner holds a 12-0 record, all wins by decision, and beat Mayelli Flores by unanimous decision at the Olympia in April to become Britain's youngest undisputed champion in the four-belt era.

The card is headlined by Elif Nur Turhan defending her IBF lightweight title against Alycia Baumgardner. WBA, WBO and IBF super-featherweight champion Baumgardner has won 18 of her 20 professional bouts, losing one with one no-contest, and will step up to lightweight in an attempt to become a two-division champion. Undefeated Turhan is making the third defence of her IBF lightweight belt, with that fight scheduled for 10 three-minute rounds.

Also on the MVPW-07 bill, Somali-British Ramla Ali faces American Mikiah Kreps for the vacant WBO and IBF super-bantamweight titles; Ali has a record of 11 wins and two defeats and featured in the first professional women's bout to take place in Saudi Arabia in 2022. The Scotney v Brown contest is one of four world title fights on the card.

The remaining world title fight sees Australia's Skye Nicolson defend her WBC super-bantamweight belt against Japan's Miyo Yoshida.

All four title bouts — Turhan v Baumgardner (headliner), Scotney v Brown (co-main), Ali v Kreps (vacant WBO and IBF super-bantamweight titles) and Nicolson v Yoshida — are scheduled for the MVPW-07 card in Arlington, Texas on 8 November.
