Elysium, Mahogany and Noraiah stand out in Pune morning gallops

Elysium, Mahogany and Noraiah caught the eye when the horses were exercised at Pune on Saturday morning, Sept. 26, 2026. Multiple horses were posted timed works over distances from 600m to 1400m during the session.

At 600m, Holding The Fort (Prasad) recorded 41 and was described as Easy, while Imperial Dawn (rb) posted 39 and Moved freely. The 800m works included Sukoon (app) and Fire Away (Kaviraj) 53, 600/40 — They moved level freely — and Vermeer (Shekhawat) with Minimus (app) 55, 600/42, with the former one length better.

In the 1000m category Alpine Star (Avinash) returned 1-7, 800/52, 600/39 and Moved well. Café Noire (Neeraj) recorded 1-8, 800/53, 600/40 and Moved fluently, while Little John (Gore) was 1-5, 800/51, 600/38 and Moved nicely.

At 1200m Diego Garcia (Ajinkya) did 1-23, 1000/1-8, 800/53, 600/39 and was Pushed. Elysium (Akshay Kumar) posted 1-20, 1000/1-6, 800/52, 600/39 and Responded well to the urgings. Noraiah (Mosin) returned 1-20, 1000/1-7, 800/53, 600/40 and Moved attractively.

The 1400m section featured Namiri (Kirtish) and Shaandaar (A. Prakash) 1-39, 1200/1-24, 1000/1-9, 800/53, 600/39, with the pair moved level freely. Mahogany (Vivek) recorded 1-36, 1200/1-21, 1000/1-6, 800/51, 600/38 and Impressed. Chagall (Siddharth) did 1-40, 600/45 and was Easy, while Menorca (Mosin) posted 1-37, 1200/1-23, 1000/1-8, 800/54, 600/41 and Worked freely.

A separate 1000m hit-out saw True Promise (Avinash) 1-10, 800/54, 600/41 and Moved freely, and Mila (Omkar) 1-9, 800/54, 600/41 and Moved well. Absolute Honour (app) and Priority Road (app) returned 1-5, 800/50, 600/38 and They moved neck and neck freely.
