Embark Studios sets ARC Raiders Expedition 5 for Sept. 8; final run before pause

Embark Studios has announced that the fifth Expedition for ARC Raiders will begin on September 8, 2026. The developer said this will be the last Expedition before a temporary pause planned for early 2027 and players must sign up during the official event window after completing the Caravan.

The fifth Expedition is scheduled to run for three weeks, making it the longest Expedition to date. Embark confirmed there will be no Last Call period for this event and that players will need to register within the event window once they have finished the Caravan.

Organizers have provided precise timing: Expedition 5 begins on September 8, 2026, at 11 AM UTC and runs until September 29, 2026. Separately, Trials Season will close on September 22 and resume on October 8 after a two-week break.

Rewards available during Expedition 5 include the complete Zenith Outfit once all five Expeditions are finished, mystery rewards, up to 12 extra stash spaces, bonus skill points, XP boosts, Scrappy material bonuses, and repair value bonuses. Hullcracker Blueprint access has also been adjusted as part of the reward changes.

Several progression and replayability changes accompany the event. Expeditions can be replayed for players who missed earlier runs and to recover missed bonus skill points; expedition skill bonuses will be limited to 15 points and, if earned sequentially, may roll over to the next Expedition up to a maximum of three levels. Players will have the option to decide whether their quest progress resets between Expeditions.

Additional account and economy updates apply: Hullcracker Blueprint is no longer locked behind quest progression and alternative acquisition methods will arrive in future updates. Unfinished Caravans will be converted into Ermal Vouchers, which are exchangeable for ARC Parts, Firearm Trades, Ermal offers or traded for Coins. Embark said the pause will be used to redesign core systems, rewards and more features, and that earned consecutive bonuses will remain during the hiatus.

Expedition 5 starts on September 8, 2026, at 11 AM UTC and concludes on September 29, 2026, giving players that three-week window to complete the event before the Expedition system is paused until early 2027; Trials Season will resume on October 8 following its scheduled two-week break.
