England's schedule for the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup 2027 was confirmed when the ICC and Cricket South Africa announced the fixtures in Cape Town on October 1, 2026. The announcement included England's group allocation and match dates for the tournament in late 2027.

The ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup 2027 will be staged in South Africa, Zimbabwe and Namibia and will feature 14 teams, returning to Africa after 24 years. The tournament is set to begin on October 2, 2027, with the final scheduled for November 21, 2027.

England secured direct qualification via the ICC ODI rankings cut-off on September 30, 2026. India, New Zealand, Pakistan, Australia, England, Sri Lanka, Afghanistan and Bangladesh qualified through the rankings, while South Africa and Zimbabwe gained places as hosts; the remaining four spots will be decided through qualifiers scheduled for early 2027, with West Indies among the teams that must take that route.

For the group stage England have been drawn in Group B alongside New Zealand, South Africa, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh and Qualifier B.

Advancement from the group stage will send the top three teams from each group, along with the best fourth-placed team, into the Super 7 stage; the group-stage fixtures will decide whether England advance to the next round.

England's recent World Cup record noted in the announcement recalled their 2019 title, when they beat New Zealand in the final at Lord’s after winning six of nine league matches and defeating Australia in the semi-final. The release also recorded England’s 2023 finish of seventh place, with three wins from nine matches, and stated they will now look to improve in 2027 and produce a campaign similar to their title-winning run in 2019.

England's five group matches are scheduled as follows: versus Bangladesh on October 8 in Windhoek; versus Sri Lanka on October 13 in Windhoek; versus South Africa on October 16 in Gqeberha; versus Qualifier B on October 20 in Harare; and versus New Zealand on October 23 in Gqeberha. England will begin their campaign against Bangladesh on October 8 in Windhoek.
