Enrich and Ultimo impress in Pune morning gallops

Enrich and Ultimo impressed when the horses were exercised in Pune on the morning of Tuesday, Sept. 1, during a scheduled training session; both moved strongly in their respective work-outs. Several other runners also produced notable times over distances from 600m to 1,400m.

A series of 600m efforts opened the session: Lighting Spear (Shahrukh) covered 600m in 42 and was described as Easy. Winter Sun (Peter) and Vrihati (S.J. Sunil) recorded 41 and finished pair level. Blue Jet (Peter) and Samson (Avinash) both recorded 40, with Blue Jet said to have moved fluently and Samson to have moved freely.

At 800m, Amelia Earhart (app) and Tranquila (Dashrath) were timed at 53,600/40 and were reported to have finished level freely; Absolute Serenity (Kaviraj) also posted 53,600/40 and was noted to have worked well. Sequential (Neeraj) and Acrobatic (Neeraj) both returned 57 with 600/43 and were described as Easy, while House Of Lords (Avinash) stopped the clock at 55,600/41 and was ridden out, noted as Urged.

Pairs in the 800m bracket included Taaqath (Dashrath) and Priority Road (Kaviraj) on 57,600/42 at pair level; Absolute Emperor (app) and Bezalel (S. Kamble) posted 56,600/41 and ended level. These results concluded the middle-distance work for several stables during the session.

Three horses worked over 1,000m: Invictor (Bhawani) returned 1-6,800/52,600/39 and was reported to have moved well. Your Unforgettable (S. Kamble) recorded 1-7,800/53,600/40 and worked nicely, while Lucky Diamond (Neeraj) covered 1-9,800/56,600/43 and was said to have worked freely.

In the 1,200m heat, Enrich (Yash) and Golden Heart (Peter) recorded 1-19,1000/1-4,800/50,600/38; Enrich moved impressively and finished a distance ahead. Madison (app) posted 1-25 with a 600/44 and was described as Easy.

Over 1,400m, Sanctified (Kirtish) and Zayyan (A. Prakash) ran 1-39,1200/1-24,1000/1-9,800/54,600/41 and were reported to have moved freely. Ultimo (Kaviraj) returned 1-34,1200/1-20,1000/1-5,800/51,600/39 and was noted to have Excelled.
