Eric Bischoff told The Game Plan on Aug. 21, 2026 that Brock Lesnar’s plans after leaving WWE are unclear, saying “Anything’s possible,” while adding he does not expect an immediate return to competition.

Lesnar, a former WWE and UFC champion, has stepped away from WWE and prompted questions about whether he will seek another athletic challenge. Bischoff was asked on the show whether Lesnar might compete for Real American Freestyle, the freestyle wrestling promotion Lesnar co-founded with Hulk Hogan, and addressed the speculation during the interview.

Bischoff did not completely rule out a comeback, offering the concise response, “Anything’s possible.” He also said he does not expect Lesnar to make a return to competition anytime soon and noted that Lesnar has never been particularly interested in remaining in the spotlight.

According to Bischoff, Lesnar would prefer spending time at home on his farm—hunting, fishing and driving his tractor—rather than preparing for another public sporting appearance. That personal preference, Bischoff suggested, makes a return to another promotion difficult to envision in the immediate future. Rather than immediately searching for a new major opportunity, Bischoff said Lesnar appears more interested in enjoying life away from public attention.

Bischoff pointed to another priority for Lesnar: his daughter, Mya, who is pursuing Olympic ambitions in shot put; Bischoff believes supporting her has become a significant focus for the former champion and one reason he chose to walk away from WWE. Bischoff also noted Lesnar’s deep roots in amateur wrestling—Lesnar won the NCAA Division I heavyweight championship in 2000—which is why he could not entirely dismiss a potential appearance in a freestyle wrestling setting.

For now, Bischoff conveyed that Lesnar seems more likely to remain in retirement than to immediately pursue another wrestling venture. If Lesnar does return to competition at some point, Bischoff suggested Real American Freestyle could be among the few destinations that might attract him back.
