Fallon Sherrock among 24 challengers set to face Luke Littler in Netflix special

Women's world number three Fallon Sherrock has been named as one of 24 contestants who will each take on Luke Littler in Netflix's new special Beat Luke Littler at the Manchester Central Convention Complex on 30 October, with a £501,000 prize available to anyone who defeats the two-time reigning world champion.
Sherrock ended Beau Greaves' record 114-match winning run in the PDC Women's Series earlier this year and is noted in the sport after becoming the first woman to win a match at the PDC World Championship when she beat Ted Evetts in 2019.
Littler, aged 19, is the two-time reigning world champion; he first rose to prominence in 2024 when, at 16, he reached the final of the PDC World Darts Championship and then became the youngest world champion in 2025 at 17, a title he defended 12 months later.
The format of the Netflix special has each of the 24 so-called 'amateurs' playing a single leg of 501 against Littler, with any player who beats him eligible for the cash prize on offer.
Entry to the show involved auditions held across London and Manchester in September, beginning with an on-court requirement to complete a leg of 501 in 24 darts or fewer; successful applicants moved on to an interview with the show's producers and a final assessment by a judging panel.
The judging panel for the final stage included 16-time world darts champion Phil Taylor, Matchroom founder Barry Hearn and professional player and TV pundit Laura Turner.
Teenagers Mitchell Lawrie and Jayden Walker are among the challengers named: Scotland's Lawrie, 15, became the first teenager to reach a WDF World Championship final last year and is a two-time world youth champion, while Walker won the England International Open earlier this month to become the youngest winner of a senior WDF title, a record previously held by Littler.
The programme will be broadcast live from the Manchester Central Convention Complex on 30 October, when each of the 24 contestants will have the opportunity to try to beat Littler and claim the £501,000 prize.
