Fan taken to hospital after Bodø/Glimt supporters fall through hole at Romssa Arena

A fan was taken to hospital after several Bodø/Glimt supporters fell through a hole in the away stand at Tromsø's Romssa Arena during the Norwegian top-flight match on Sunday. The game was paused just before half-time when Bodø goalkeeper Nikita Haikin called for the referee's attention.
Romssa Arena, pictured before a Conference League game against Brighton in August, is 200 miles inside the Arctic Circle and is the northernmost venue in Norway's Eliteserien. The match was played in heavy rain and was 0-0 at the time of the incident.
Bodø/Glimt press officer Simen Pedersen told the Reuters news agency: "up to five people fell through the stands". Bodo supporter Andrine Moen told local newspaper Verdens Gang, as reported by Reuters: "We stood and bounced to a supporter song, then the floor gave way."
Moen added: "It cracked in two in the row in front of us. There were at least two people who fell through the floor, but we don't know how far they fell or how many fell in total." The remaining Bodø supporters were moved into other parts of the ground before the match resumed.
After play restarted, Bodø forward Ola Brynhildsen scored twice to secure a 2-0 win for the league leaders. The result came after the interruption caused by the collapse in the away stand.
Bodø are locked in a title battle with Viking, and the Eliteserien season is set to finish in the first week of December.
