FIA blames software glitch for Bahrain GP formation-lap power losses; Sepang fix to remain for Singapore GP

Max Verstappen triumphed at the Bahrain Grand Prix after an unforeseen software malfunction caused power losses during the formation laps amid a downpour that affected several vehicles and delayed the race start.

After investigating, the FIA said the Sepang fix — revised software solutions — will remain in place for the Singapore Grand Prix should conditions be similar.
