Senegal U-15 defeated India U-15 6-1 at the Hovsan Competition Complex in Baku, Azerbaijan on 26 October 2026 in the final matchweek of Group K at the FIFA U-15 World Cup and Festival 2026. The result dropped India to third place in the group and placed them into Tier C.

India, coached by Bibiano Fernandes, entered the last matchweek leading Group K on 10 points and required a victory to secure Tier A qualification; three teams remained in contention for the top spot. India had held the group lead until the final matchday but failed to achieve the necessary win in their concluding fixture.

Cameroon, who had been level with Senegal on nine points before the final round, beat Bahrain 3-0 to finish the group with 12 points and move to the top of Group K. That victory gave Cameroon the highest points total in the group after all fixtures were completed.

Senegal finished second in Group K and qualified for Tier B. Despite recording a superior goal difference to Cameroon, Senegal were placed behind Cameroon on the basis of head-to-head results after Cameroon beat Senegal 3-0 in the opening game of the group.

Laos beat Grenada 7-0 in their final group fixture. India’s matches are scheduled to be streamed live on DAZN.

With the group stage concluded, Cameroon top Group K with 12 points, Senegal finish second and advance to Tier B, and India end third and enter Tier C.
