Five potential matches linked to WWE Money in the Bank 2026 at Smoothie King Center
WWE will stage Money in the Bank 2026 at the Smoothie King Center in New Orleans on October 10, 2026, and a series of high-profile match ideas are being discussed for the card, featuring Sami Zayn, Stephanie Vaquer and Oba Femi among others.
The event is set to include two namesake ladder matches for the coveted briefcase and a major World title match, and with the show still a few weeks away as of this writing five possible additions to the premium live event have been suggested.
The 946 faction’s feud with The Bloodline escalated when they abducted Solo Sikoa on RAW this week; the Usos attempted to stop the attack and Sikoa may turn to his brothers for revenge. That sequence of events could lead to a six-man tag team match at Money in the Bank 2026, as rumors and speculations of a WarGames collision continue.
Nikki Bella and Paige met in a singles match on SmackDown in Mexico City that ended in close to 2 minutes, and that bout followed a feud which began at SummerSlam when the Bella Twins turned on Paige. Given the unfinished business between the two, a rematch at Money in the Bank 2026 has been proposed.
The feud between Oba Femi and The Vision faction persisted after Femi came to Je’Von Evans’s aid to fend them off on this past Monday’s Raw. On the latest episode of RAW, new WWE Women’s World Champion Stephanie Vaquer agreed to defend her title against both Becky Lynch and Liv Morgan. That agreement could be formalised as a title defence at Money in the Bank 2026, which would place Vaquer, Lynch and Morgan on the same New Orleans card.
