Five potential storylines emerging from WWE Crown Jewel 2026 in Riyadh
WWE Crown Jewel 2026 Premium Live Event took place at The Venue in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, on November 7, 2026, and delivered several moments that set up new angles for WWE television. The card consisted of four matches featuring top roster names and produced fallout that Khel Now says has teased five possible programs moving forward.
The show combined in-ring outcomes with backstage beats that could shift creative direction across multiple divisions. Highlights cited in the immediate fallout include a surprise return during the tag title match, contested action in the women's division that ended with a Money in the Bank cash-in, and a competitive main event that drew a strong emotional response in a backstage segment.
During the WWE World Tag Team Championships match Oba Femi returned to television, threw Bronson Reed off the stage and engaged in a stare-down with Bron Breakker. Oba has called out The OTC on numerous occasions this year, and both Roman Reigns and Oba Femi were present at Crown Jewel, with commentators referencing the pair together during the broadcast. The audience chanted The Ruler’s name during Reigns’ match against Sami Zayn, and WWE might be positioned to revisit a feud that connects the present group with an emerging star.
Liv Morgan was portrayed as dominant in her Crown Jewel women's championship match against Chelsea Green; Morgan sent Roxanne Perez and Raquel Rodriguez away and did not enlist their help, leaving Perez visibly upset. That segment was presented as a potential seed for a feud between the Judgment Day and the women on upcoming television. Separately, the longstanding friendship between Chelsea Green and Tiffany Stratton ended when Stratton cashed in the Money in the Bank briefcase to win the WWE Women’s title.
Roman Reigns defeated Sami Zayn in the main event of the Premium Live Event in Riyadh. Sami Zayn pushed Reigns to his limit and, despite the loss, earned the OTC’s respect; in a backstage segment Zayn said that his work and performance got the biggest WWE star to acknowledge him, and he was visibly emotional. The coverage notes this sequence could mark the start of a face turn for Zayn and might shift fan reaction after months of negative response.
The next WWE Premium Live Event after Crown Jewel is Survivor Series: WarGames, scheduled for November 28, 2026, in Houston, Texas.
