Football Manager 27 free Launch Preview runs Oct 29–Nov 3 ahead of Nov 10 release

SEGA and Sports Interactive announced Football Manager 27 will be available to play for free on PC and Mac from 6 PM GMT on October 29 until November 3, 2026, ahead of the game’s full release on November 10, 2026. The five-day Launch Preview will be distributed across major PC storefronts and subscription services.

Sports Interactive set the preview to begin at 6 PM GMT on October 29 and run through November 3, giving players a defined window to try the game before launch. Sports Interactive posted: "Play #FM27 for free 🤩From 29th October to 3rd November, experience five free days of Football Manager 27 across Steam, Epic, Microsoft Store, Xbox Game Pass and PC Game Pass. Wishlist now to be ready for our Launch Preview Free Play." Players on PC and Mac can download and play during the preview with no registration and no additional cost.

According to the official FM website, the Launch Preview is described as more polished compared to previous betas and will include every game mode for players to test. The site notes that save continuity is supported: "Yes. All save files created during the Launch Preview can be continued in both the paid preview period and the full release on November 10." That continuity means progress made in the free window carries forward into later access.

The free preview is available via Steam, Epic Games Store, Microsoft Store, Xbox Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass. Following the free window, a pre-purchase period opens on November 3, offering a 10% discount through SEGA-approved digital stores. Players who pre-order will retain access to the game's Launch Preview until the official release on November 10.

Football Manager 27 includes a revamped user interface, improved match play and new tactical systems, with features named Tactical Tweaks and Tactical Effectiveness among the additions. The developer states these additions "will give managers increased control over team preparation and in-match decision-making," aiming to expand tactical options available to players.

The full game is scheduled for release on November 10, 2026; the pre-purchase window beginning November 3 carries the 10% SEGA-approved digital store discount and preserves Launch Preview access for pre-order customers.
