Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 4 introduces Gold Sprites with 3x XP boost

Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 4 launched on August 23, 2026, and introduced a new collectible called Gold Sprites to the game. The items are rare and supply an experience boost that players can carry into matches.

There are 11 Gold Sprite variants available in the current season, and each variant retains its normal ability while granting a 3x XP bonus for every elimination while you are carrying one. Gold Sprites are not obtainable from standard chests. Players can acquire them by entering Cheat Codes at specific points of interest (POIs) or by eliminating opponents who are already carrying a Gold Sprite.

Carrying a Gold Sprite alters in-match dynamics because the bearer receives the 3x XP benefit and consequently becomes a high-value target; other players will attempt to eliminate carriers to obtain the sprite for themselves.
