Fortnitemares 2026 arrives with 26 quests, Jack-A-Nape reward and Oct. 8 second wave
Fortnite players received Fortnitemares 2026 in-game content when the seasonal event launched on October 2, 2026, introducing 26 limited-time quests and Halloween-themed rewards. The event offers new spooky gameplay, exclusive cosmetics and free items for those who complete the challenges.
Fortnitemares 2026 centers on Halloween content with a mix of limited-time quests and cosmetics, alongside a progression track that awards XP and free rewards. The event comprises 26 quests players must complete to earn the top-tier reward, and Epic Games has confirmed additional quest waves during the event.
Epic listed the official Fortnitemares 2026 collaborations as Five Nights at Freddy's, Slender Man, Obsession, Hollow Knight, Hazbin Hotel, Predator: Badlands, A Nightmare on Elm Street, Halloween Horror Nights, 99 Nights in the Forest, Black Clover, Beetlejuice and The Purge.
Challenges for Fortnitemares can be completed across Battle Royale, Zero Build, Horde Rush and Reload, with progress shared between these supported modes. That shared progression allows players to combine activities from different modes to finish all 26 quests before the event concludes.
Epic Games announced a second wave of Nitemare quests scheduled to launch on October 8, 2026, including the Battle Royale Nitemare second batch and additional Horde Rush and Reload missions. More challenges and the Reload Nitemare quests will be released as part of that October 8 update.
Completing Fortnitemares quests grants exclusive cosmetic rewards and event progression, and the track includes significant XP alongside Halloween-themed items. The free Jack-A-Nape skin is available as the ultimate reward: "You can unlock the Jack-A-Nape Outfit by completing all 26 Fortnitemares 2026 Quests during the event."
A Nitemare quest is available immediately with straightforward Battle Royale challenges, and Horde Rush missions also award event progression when completed; further challenges arrive on October 8, 2026. The event’s structure lets players pursue progression in the game modes they prefer.
The next confirmed update is the October 8, 2026 release of the second wave of Battle Royale, Horde Rush and Reload Nitemare quests; for ongoing coverage Khel Now Gaming directs readers to follow its Facebook, Twitter and Instagram channels and to download the Khel Now Android App or IOS App and join its Telegram and Whatsapp communities.
