Fynbos, Rosario and Regina Memorabilis impress in Pune morning workouts
Fynbos, Rosario and Regina Memorabilis impressed when exercised at Pune on Thursday (Sept. 17) morning during the trackwork session.
The morning gallop covered a range of distances from 600m up to 2000m with timed fractions and trainer/jockey notes recorded for each horse. Observers logged movements and split times, and brief comments such as "Urged", "Moved freely" and "Worked well" accompanied many of the entries.
At 600m, Bohemian Rhapsody (Shahrukh) recorded 37 and was described as "Urged", while Axlrod (T.S. Jodha) did 39 and "Moved freely". In the 800m set Rosario (Yash) posted 50, 600/37 and was said to have "Moved nicely"; Bishop (Siddharth) ran 54, 600/40 and "Moved freely"; Sol Invictus (rb) did 56, 600/43 and was "Easy"; Romanos (N. Bhosale) covered 55, 600/41 and was "Easy".
Over 1000m, Taaqath (Zervan) and Kaiser (S. Kamble) were listed together at 1-9, 800/53, 600/39 and "They moved level freely". Caccini (Bhawani) recorded 1-9, 800/53, 600/39 and was noted to have "Worked well". Ange Raphael (Shelar), Sir Churchill (Santosh) and Shimmer (Akram) clocked 1-10, 800/54, 600/40; the first finished two lengths in front of the second, who in turn was two lengths ahead of the third. Bright Button (Mansoor) posted 1-8, 800/53, 600/39 and "Moved well". Acrobatic (Pranil) and Royal Champ (Mansoor) were 1-9, 800/53, 600/39 with the former ending two lengths in front. Loyal Lover (Avinash) ran 1-5, 800/50, 600/38 and "Responded well". Hagibis (rb) and Raphael (rb) were 1-6, 800/53, 600/41 with the former "finished well clear". Luminosity (Pranil) posted 1-9, 800/54, 600/40 and "Moved freely".
Lord And Master (Mosin) covered 1200m in 1-22, with earlier fractions 1000/1-7, 800/53, 600/39 and was recorded as "Worked well". At 1400m, Regina Memorabilis (Yash) ran 1-35, 1200/1-20, 1000/1-6, 800/52, 600/39 and "Moved attractively"; Pride’s Prince (Yash) posted 1-35, 1200/1-20, 1000/1-5, 800/52, 600/39 and was "Urged in the last part".
In the longer work, Kings Gambit (Yash) and Matisse (A. Prakash) recorded 2-10 for 1800m with earlier splits 1600/1-55, 1400/1-40, 1200/1-25, 1000/1-10, 800/55, 600/42; the former started four lengths behind and finished level. Fynbos (Vivek) completed 2000m in 2-17 with intermediate times 1800/2-3, 1600/1-49, 1400/1-35, 1200/1-20, 1000/1-6, 800/52, 600/39 and was reported to have "Moved impressively".
