Galatasaray v Barcelona: Confirmed lineups announced for Champions League 2026-27 group game

Galatasaray and FC Barcelona released confirmed starting lineups ahead of their second group-stage match of the UEFA Champions League 2026-27 at RAMS Park, with the announcement published on 13 October 2026 by Khel Now.

Galatasaray enter the fixture having produced inconsistent recent results and conceding a 1-3 defeat to Sporting CP in their opening match of this Champions League campaign. The Turkish side will play at home at RAMS Park and the preview noted concerns about underwhelming defensive displays that could prove costly if they allow many opportunities to their opponents.

FC Barcelona travel buoyed by a run of form described as unbeaten in the ongoing season so far and by a dominant performance against Feyenoord in their first group-stage outing. The Khel Now piece described Hansi Flick’s team as confident and suggested they are likely to pursue an attacking approach away from home.

Victor Osimhen is named as the main striker for Galatasaray in the confirmed lineup, with the article noting his ability to create chances for team-mates. Galatasaray will be looking for improved defensive organisation to contend with Barcelona’s threat.

The report identified Lamine Yamal as an important attacking asset for Barcelona, citing his recent LaLiga performance against Getafe in which he created the most chances (3) and took the most shots (6). It added that, even though he did not score a goal, the 19-year-old was a constant threat to the opposition’s defence.
