Gamescom 2026 Opening Night Live: major reveals and new titles unveiled

Geoff Keighley hosted Gamescom 2026’s Opening Night Live on August 26, 2026, a nearly two-hour presentation that delivered announcements, gameplay reveals and world premieres for upcoming games.

The showcase featured high-profile properties including The Witcher 3, Gears of War: E DAY and Final Fantasy, with several substantial reveals during the programme. Among the largest announcements were The Witcher 3 Remastered, The Witcher 3: Songs of the Past, Final Fantasy 7 Revelation and Gears of War: E-Day.

Organizers also introduced a string of newly announced projects, naming Nodus Fall, Dust Origins, Warlock, Afterworld, Project Zeta, Ontos, The Defiant, Like or Die and Petit Planet among the new titles. The post identified Nodus Fall as a new HoYoverse title and labeled the clip an official trailer. Nodus Fall was listed among the new projects announced during the event.
