Gareth Barry says Erling Haaland could leave Man City if club’s dominance declines

Former Manchester City midfielder Gareth Barry said Erling Haaland could eventually leave Manchester City, in a Times of India article published on August 25, 2026.
Barry said that despite Haaland’s contract running until 2034, the striker may seek a new challenge if City struggle over the next two seasons.
Barry also said he expects Arsenal to be favourites for the Premier League following City’s major changes.
