On October 11, 2026, Georgia Voll struck an unbeaten 131 off 97 balls as Australia chased down Bangladesh’s 220-6 to win the second ODI by nine wickets at Brisbane’s Allan Border Field and secure an unassailable 2-0 lead in the three-match series.

Bangladesh posted 220-6, powered by Sobhana Mostary’s 118 off 134 and captain Nigar Sultana’s 74 not out off 114, before Australia’s openers completed the chase in 28.1 overs. Voll’s knock was her third ODI century in her 15th match and became the highest individual women’s ODI score at the venue, eclipsing a mark Mostary had equalled earlier in the day.

Mostary, 24, and Sultana put together a 195-run partnership for the fourth wicket after coming together with Bangladesh reeling at 8-3 in the eighth over. That stand was the highest partnership against Australia in women’s ODI history and the largest for any Bangladesh wicket in women’s ODIs, forming the backbone of Bangladesh’s highest total against Australia.

Mostary’s innings featured a fifty reached with a cut off legspinner Alana King and three earlier boundaries through the offside in Georgia Wareham’s opening over; she finished with 118 off 134. Mostary’s score is recorded as the highest ever by a No.5 against Australia in women’s ODI cricket and the best by a Bangladesh batter.

Australia’s reply was anchored by an opening partnership of 162 off 119 deliveries between Voll and Phoebe Litchfield. Litchfield made 70 off 51, playing strokes all around the ground, while Voll’s power hitting accounted for the lion’s share of the scoring as the chase was completed comfortably.

Voll, 23, became the first woman to register two ODI centuries at Allan Border Field after her previous 101 against India at the same venue in 2024; her unbeaten 131 reclaimed the venue record hours after Mostary had matched it. ‘‘I love batting out there with Phoebe and to have a partnership and get the team off to a good start was the most important thing,’’ Voll said. ‘‘I base my game off a power game and go through the gears. I look to hit the ball hard and straight early and take it on once I get in.’’

Megan Schutt finished as Australia’s leading bowler with figures of 4-36 and removed Mostary by hitting her leg stump to end the innings. Both teams were unchanged from Friday’s opening match, which Australia won by seven wickets.

The series now heads to the third and final ODI with Australia holding an unassailable 2-0 lead in the three-match contest.
