German-made javelin machine bought in March lies unused at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium

A state-of-the-art javelin-throwing machine intended for top athletes lies unused at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium after being acquired in March and is exposed to the harsh monsoon elements.

The equipment remains uninstalled because of a lack of space at the stadium.

The expensive, German-engineered machine is now at risk as moisture and dust threaten its electronic components and effective use.
