Giants rout Raiders and Featherstone down Leigh in Women's Super League

Huddersfield Giants beat Barrow Raiders 42-0 at a wet Craven Park and Featherstone Rovers defeated Leigh Leopards 30-0 at Post Office Road in Women's Super League matches on 30 August 2026. Mollie Iceton scored four tries for Huddersfield in the win.
Huddersfield maintained their good run against Barrow with a convincing 42-0 victory, while Featherstone recorded a comfortable 30-0 success at Post Office Road. With just two matches of the regular season remaining, the Raiders face a relegation play-off against the top-placed Championship team, which are currently Swinton Lionesses.
Winger Mollie Iceton and full-back Amelia Brown each scored two tries in the first 40 minutes to put Huddersfield into a commanding 24-point lead at half-time. Iceton then completed her hat-trick and added a fourth try in the second half. Samantha Hulme and Madison Clegg both went over later in the game.
Ellie Lamb opened the scoring for Featherstone before Aaliyah Brewster powered over underneath the sticks moments before half-time. Kate Evans extended the Rovers' lead after the interval. Cerys Gregory scored her first try for the club with less than 20 minutes remaining, and Chloe Billington's late try put the seal on the victory.
The Giants picked up a fifth consecutive win over the bottom-placed Raiders. The match at Craven Park was played in wet conditions.
Featherstone's 30-0 victory moves them four points clear of second-bottom Leopards and sets up a Shield Final between Rovers and Huddersfield Giants.
