Goenka addresses Rishabh Pant's departure from Lucknow Super Giants

Goenka broke his silence on Rishabh Pant's exit from Lucknow Super Giants in the Indian Premier League on 16 September 2026.

He said, 'People said a lot of things.'

The franchise owner said their relationship with Pant remained cordial and warm.

Pant has returned to his former team, the Delhi Capitals, for a lower fee, and Lucknow Super Giants replaced him by signing wrist-spinner Kuldeep Yadav after two unsuccessful seasons for the franchise.
