Content creator and golf brand Good Good apologised on 23 August 2026 after removing an advert on its YouTube channel that showed co-founder Garrett Clark pushing professional golfer Alexis Miestowski to the ground while she reached for a new Callaway driver.

Good Good, launched as a YouTube channel in 2020, has 2.13m subscribers to its golf channel and is one of the largest content creators in golf, producing clips featuring men and women competing in golf challenges as well as made-for-TV shows and adverts for clothing and merchandise; the brand also sponsors a PGA Tour tournament.

The advert, produced for golf club manufacturer Callaway, depicted Garrett Clark rushing over to Alexis Miestowski, who is identified in the piece as a professional golfer and regular content creator for Good Good, and pushing her to the ground before shouting: "Do not touch my new driver."

The clip provoked a backlash and was accused of making light of violence against women. In response Good Good posted an apology on X, saying: "We posted a video to our channels that ultimately depicted actions that are not aligned with our values as a brand," "We have since taken that content down, and sincerely apologise. "Good Good has always stood for making the game of golf more inclusive to all, and we will continue to ensure that is our mission moving forward".

Callaway, which has worked with Good Good since 2023, issued a statement to media expressing disappointment and welcoming Good Good's action, saying: "We are disappointed by the content that was posted, and are appreciative of Good Good for addressing this. "We look forward to working together to ensure a more inclusive space in golf."

Garrett Clark helped set up Good Good Golf with business partner Matt Kendrick and remains the primary on-camera face of the brand, according to the report.

The PGA Tour, which has been pursuing closer collaborations with social media content creators, commented on the advert through a spokesperson: "The PGA Tour believes in golf's ability to bring people together and create a welcoming environment for all," adding, "We do not condone violence in any form, and the since-deleted video does not reflect our values or commitment to inclusivity and respect."

Last year the PGA Tour announced plans to stage the inaugural Good Good Championship in Texas, which is due to take place in November.
