Great Khali says he is unhurt after SUV collision at Panipat toll plaza

Former WWE star Dalip Singh Rana, better known as The Great Khali, was involved in a road accident at a toll plaza in Panipat, Haryana, on Saturday when his SUV collided with another vehicle, and he has said he was uninjured. Khali posted a video on Instagram to reassure followers that he is doing well.

Footage of the incident circulated on social media and prompted questions about his condition; Khali addressed those concerns in the Instagram clip. He said: "Yesterday, my car met with an accident, and since then I have been receiving a lot of calls and messages asking about my well-being, but everything is okay. I am all well. It is your blessings and also the God’s blessings are with me. It was a minor accident and which is why I did not want to tell anyone about it because I didn't want to make it a big deal, but then the video went viral on social media, so I just wanted to clarify. But I am all well. Take care, Jai Hind," said Khali in the video.

The recording from the scene shows visible damage to the front of a white car. Khali is seen walking away from the damaged vehicle before getting into a black Scorpio, while the Scorpio's driver waits for him to settle in and then departs. The sequence in the clip suggests Khali did not sustain injuries in the collision.

A social media account, FADE, posted a video of the incident on August 29, 2026 and wrote: "The Great Khali was involved in a car accident today in India.He left the scene without any injuries. pic.twitter.com/huTfVyVUrS". That post circulated alongside other footage of the crash.

Khali was the first Indian-born World Champion in WWE, stepped away from active competition from 2014, has been working to help young wrestlers in India, and was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2021.
