Manchester City beat Charlton 1-0 at Charlton in the Women’s Super League on 26 September 2026.
Alex Greenwood’s free-kick in the 36th minute was the only goal, giving the defending champions a fourth successive WSL victory and maintaining their perfect start to the season.
City had plenty of opportunities to extend their lead but could not find a second goal, while promoted Charlton’s winless run continued, leaving them bottom of the table without a point.
