Gunfire, Encino and Turn And Burn stand out in Pune morning works

Pune: On Monday (Aug. 24) morning horses Gunfire, Encino and Turn And Burn caught the eye during exercise on the gallops at Pune.

Morning sessions covered a mix of 600m, 800m and 1000m works with a separate gate-practice session on the inner sand; several horses posted notable clockings and were described by on-course observers as moving well. In the 600m list Between Friends (Parmar) recorded 37 and was noted as "Moved well," while Marcus (Avinash) did 41 and was "Easy," Lord Rishon (Avinash) 42 "Easy" and Ironheart (Prasasd) 42 "Easy."

The 800m session produced a cluster of strong performances: Mojito (Parmar) and Fighton (P. Dhebe) were both on 50 with 600/37 and "They moved neck and neck freely." Turn And Burn (D.A. Naik) recorded 50, 600/38 and was described as "Moved nicely," while Encino (Santosh) posted 50, 600/37 and "Moved attractively." Gunfire (Yash) also clocked 50, 600/37 and was reported to have "Moved impressively."

Further 800m workouts included Seneca (Santosh) 55, 600/40 "Easy," Mirae (Avinash) 54, 600/41 "Moved freely," Running Away (Gore) 50, 600/37 "Urged in the last part," Moonlight Kiss (rb) 53, 600/40 "Worked freely," Lumineer (Peter) 53, 600/38 "Moved freely," Magical Moments (Avinash) 51, 600/38 "Worked well" and Lighting Spear (rb) 56, 600/42 "Easy."

In the 1000m bracket Ministry Of Time (app) recorded 1-5, 800/50, 600/38 and was noted as "Pressed." Gate practice on the inner sand over 1000m saw Esconido (Mosin) 1-7, 800/52, 600/39 and described as "Moved well," Exotic Star (app) 1-11, 600/41 "Easy," Highground (Peter) 1-6, 800/51, 600/39 which "Jumped out well and pushed in the last part," Sky Full Of Stars (A. Gaikwad) 1-6, 800/51, 600/39 "Moved nicely," and Stormy Dancer (Prasad) together with AR Legend (Shubham) 1-12, 800/57, 600/43 at "Pair level."

Mock races on Saturday (Aug. 22) were also noted: over 1200m Land Of Plenty (Bhawani), Acropolis (Kirtish), Field Of Gold (Shubham) and Theodosius (Avinash) ran 1-13, 600/36 with Land Of Plenty winning "pillar to post" and Acropolis finishing a "good second" after covering ground from third at the bend. In a 1400m mock Regina Memorabilis (Neeraj), Inquilaab (C.S. Jodha), New Star (Peter), Golden Gun (S.J. Sunil) and Gunsmoke (Vishal) posted 1-29, 600/35 with Regina Memorabilis winning by five lengths after moving from fourth near 600m to take the race on the outside.

The inspection report for the morning therefore lists individual workout times and running notes for each horse and records the two mock-race winners from Saturday (Aug. 22), providing the documented outcomes and performance observations for trainers and connections to consider.
