Hardik Pandya defeated YouTuber Mr Beast in a $100,000 baseball home-run challenge filmed for MrBeast’s YouTube channel, with the video uploaded on October 31. Pandya announced he would donate the full prize money to charity.

The clip, titled ‘Beat Professional Athlete, Win $100,000’, featured Indian YouTuber CarryMinati (Ajey Nagar) alongside athletes including LeBron James, Erling Haaland, Simone Biles and Caitlin Clark. Mr Beast’s real name, Jimmy Donaldson, is used in the video credits. CarryMinati was present and supported the Indian all-rounder during the contest.

Pandya, who said he had never played baseball before, took part in a home-run challenge against Mr Beast and hit three balls out of the stadium to secure the $100,000 prize. His victory over Mr Beast concluded the filmed contest featured in the uploaded video.

The $100,000 prize (approximately ₹94 lakh) was donated in full by Pandya to ADAPT and Community Streeties India. The article states ADAPT and Community Streeties India work to support people in need and animals, with Community Streeties India involved in the care and welfare of stray dogs.

The 32-year-old has not played competitive cricket since the IPL 2026 season because of injury, and his last international appearance came in the final of the 2026 T20 World Cup. He is undergoing rehabilitation at the BCCI’s Centre of Excellence (CoE) in Bengaluru.

As per reports, Pandya could start jogging again in November as part of his recovery. He is expected to return to competitive cricket in IPL 2027, which is likely to begin in March next year.
