On October 14, 2026, India all-rounder Hardik Pandya was photographed holding hands with girlfriend Mahieka Sharma at Mumbai airport amid India’s T20I series against the West Indies. A clip that circulated on social media shows the couple moving through the terminal together toward a waiting vehicle.

Pandya, who turned 33 a few days ago, remains out of international action while completing a rehabilitation programme at the BCCI Centre of Excellence (CoE) in Bengaluru. India are currently playing the West Indies in a T20I series and are scheduled to tour New Zealand next for an all-format series. Selectors had rested him from bilateral international fixtures but named him in the India A squad for upcoming unofficial one-day matches against Australia A; he missed those fixtures after suffering a fresh right shin injury.

The video shows Pandya and Sharma walking hand in hand through the terminal as fans gathered around them. They made their way to a waiting car while onlookers surrounded the pair to greet them. After reaching the vehicle, Pandya ensured Sharma was seated in the back before he entered the car himself.

Mahieka Sharma is described in reports as an award-winning fashion model. She has been with Pandya for a while and has supported him in his tough times, for which Hardik has credited her. As Pandya turned 33 a few days ago, Sharma shared his emotional journey on social media, highlighting his rise from a teenage batter from Baroda.

Pandya is a right-arm medium-fast bowler who can also bat lower down the order, and his inclusion is reported to provide balance to the side by allowing an extra batter. To speed up his recovery he shifted his base to Bengaluru and is completing rehabilitation at the BCCI Centre of Excellence (CoE). Having been named to India A before the Australia A unofficial one-day fixtures, he was ultimately ruled out of that series with the fresh right shin injury.

India will next tour New Zealand for an all-format series. As Pandya nears the completion of his rehabilitation at the BCCI Centre of Excellence in Bengaluru, he will aim to regain form ahead of potential future selection.
