Harita Bhadra wins bronze in women's 200m at Asian Games in Nagoya

India’s Harita Bhadra won the bronze medal in the women’s 200 metres at the 20th Asian Games in Nagoya, Japan on Sunday, September 27, 2026. She was one of two Indians to reach the final, the other being Unnathi Aiyappa Bolland.

Bhadra recorded 23.20 seconds in the final to take third place, finishing just ahead of Japan’s Ido Abigeirufuka, who ran 23.21 seconds. Singapore’s Shanti Pereira claimed the gold with a season-best 22.78 seconds and China’s Chen Yujie took silver in 22.93 seconds. Unnathi Aiyappa Bolland finished sixth in the final with a time of 23.48 seconds.
