The women's 69kg field produced a podium of Canada's Charlotte Simoneau, Harjinder Kaur and Australia's Nya Phebe Hayman. The contest formed part of the weightlifting programme at CWG 2026 and concluded with clear distinctions among the medalists.

Kaur opened her series with a 101kg lift in the snatch portion and then completed a 126kg clean and jerk, producing the 227kg aggregate that secured her second place. The 126kg clean and jerk was recorded as a new mark in the event. Those two lifts comprised the performance that placed her on the podium.
