India’s Harmeet Desai and Yashaswini Ghorpade secured at least a bronze in mixed doubles at the Asian Table Tennis Championships on October 23, 2026, defeating South Korea 3-2 in the quarterfinals.

It is India’s first mixed doubles medal at the event since 1954. The duo will face Japan’s Sora Matsushima and Miwa Harimoto in the semifinals for a place in the final.
