How to watch the Commonwealth Kabaddi Championship 2026 in India

The Commonwealth Kabaddi Championship 2026 will be held at the Veer Savarkar Sports Complex in Ahmedabad from October 23 to 31, and it is the inaugural edition of the event. Organisers say the tournament will play a major role in popularising kabaddi and will help promote the sport for inclusion in the 2030 Commonwealth Games in Ahmedabad.

After Pakistan’s withdrawal, 13 countries will take part: India, Bangladesh, England, Uganda, Sri Lanka, Kenya, Canada, Scotland, Singapore, Tanzania, Nigeria, Australia and Malaysia. India are the favourites in both the men’s and women’s categories and will aim to maintain their dominance following the recent Asian Games, where both India’s men’s and women’s teams won gold by defeating Iran in their respective finals.

The Star Sports Network holds the broadcasting rights for the Commonwealth Kabaddi Championship 2026 in India. Viewers with access to Star Sports can watch the matches on television for free as part of their existing pack without any extra cost.

Live streaming will be available on the JioStar app and website, but a subscription is required; without it, you won’t be able to watch the matches via that service. The JioStar stream will carry the tournament coverage for viewers who subscribe.

Khel Now will provide additional coverage online: the Khel Now TV YouTube channel will offer free updates on all India matches. For further updates, follow Khel Now Kabaddi on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram, download the Khel Now Android App or IOS App, or join its community on Whatsapp & Telegram.

The tournament concludes with the final on October 31; that match will be broadcast on Star Sports and streamed on JioStar for subscribers, while Khel Now’s channels will continue to supply free updates on India’s games.
