Konstantinos Tzolakis, 23, has joined newly promoted Hull City from Olympiacos, signing a five-year contract on 5 August 2026. The move is reported to be a club-record transfer for the Tigers.

Although neither side has confirmed the fee, it is thought to be around £20m plus add-ons. Hull's previous transfer record has stood since 2016 when they paid £13m for Tottenham midfielder Ryan Mason.

Tzolakis has spent his entire senior career with Olympiacos, making 131 appearances since his debut in 2020. He won eight trophies with the club, including four Greek Super League titles and the 2023-24 Uefa Conference League. Konstantinos Tzolakis was named Greek Super League player of the season in 2024-25.

The month after helping Olympiacos to European success, he made his international debut against Malta and has gone on to earn nine caps. Those appearances have come since his breakthrough at club level following the 2023-24 European campaign.

"I am ready for a new chapter in my career," Tzolakis said. "With Olympiacos, I had a successful career with a Conference League title, championship and a cup, also European games and Champions League. "Hull City is something different because we are playing in the Premier League. We have to fight against top players, so it's a challenge for me. "I feel ready. I will give everything I have every single day in training to help our team to achieve its goals. I'm excited to be in England. I wanted to come to Hull City because the Premier League is the top stage."

Tzolakis will join Hull City's squad as they prepare to compete in the Premier League.
