PV Sindhu and Lakshya Sen advanced to the title matches at the Hylo Open 2026 on Saturday after winning their semi-finals in straight games at the BWF World Tour event.

Two-time Olympic medallist PV Sindhu defeated compatriot Anmol Kharb 21-13, 21-16 in a 38-minute semi-final, extending an unbeaten run at the tournament without dropping a game and reaching her second consecutive BWF World Tour final. The match was the first international meeting between the two Indians, and Sindhu arrived at Hylo Open fresh from a runner-up finish at the French Open last week. She will meet Denmark’s Line Hojmark Kjaersfeldt in the title match.

Lakshya Sen progressed to the men’s singles final with a composed 21-17, 21-13 win over France’s sixth seed Toma Junior Popov in 41 minutes. The victory moved Sen ahead 3-2 in the head-to-head series against Popov. The result represents his second final appearance of the season, following his runner-up finish at the All England Open earlier this year, and his first final since March.

Sen is set to face Indonesia’s Jonatan Christie in the final at the BWF Super 500 event. The Hylo Open semi-final outcomes bring Sen and Sindhu into title matches at the same tournament; the last occasion both reached finals of the same event was the Syed Modi India International in 2024.

The finals line-up is confirmed: PV Sindhu versus Line Hojmark Kjaersfeldt and Lakshya Sen versus Jonatan Christie for the Hylo Open 2026 titles at the BWF Super 500 event.
