The ICC will unveil the schedule for the 2027 Men's Cricket World Cup at a launch in Cape Town on Thursday, October 1, 2026, with the Schedule Launch Show beginning at 5:30 PM South Africa Standard Time (SAST). The programme will reveal the tournament groups and the full match schedule.

The 2027 World Cup will feature 14 teams competing in 57 matches across 12 venues in South Africa, Zimbabwe and Namibia; the tournament is due to start on October 2, 2027, with the final scheduled for November 21. The launch event will take place at the Zeitz Museum of Contemporary Art Africa in Cape Town.

Kass Naidoo, Jatin Sapru and Pommie Mbangwa will host the Schedule Launch Show. Shaun Pollock, Aaron Finch and Brian Lara are listed as discussion-panel participants, and Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma, Lungi Ngidi, Aiden Markram and Pat Cummins will also share their views during the programme.

Fans worldwide can watch the launch through various broadcasters and streaming platforms; in India the event will be available live on JioHotstar and several Star Sports channels. The ICC will additionally stream the launch globally on its official YouTube channel.

The main focus of the launch is to confirm the groups, match dates and venues for the 2027 tournament. The announcement coincides with the opening of the ticket ballot: supporters can register interest for matches across all three host nations from October 1 to November 21, 2026, entry to the ballot will be free and valid applications will be considered equally regardless of when they are submitted during that period.
