IND vs WI five-time T20I series: full schedule, venues and squads

India will host the West Indies in a five-time T20I series beginning at Ekana Cricket Stadium in Lucknow on October 6 and concluding at M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru on October 17. The short-format series follows a three-match ODI contest between the sides and India’s gold-medal defence at the Aichi-Nagoya Asian Games 2026.
India won the recent three-match ODI series against the West Indies, with centuries from Rohit Sharma, Shubman Gill and Virat Kohli powering the hosts in the first two matches before Shai Hope’s match-winning 162 in the final ODI prevented a whitewash. At the Aichi-Nagoya Asian Games 2026 India defeated Pakistan in the final as Abhishek Sharma and Tilak Varma reached half-centuries in the summit clash, becoming only the first Indians after Virat Kohli to register more than one 50+ score against Pakistan; India had earlier beaten Sri Lanka in the semi-final by a one-sided margin. The Indian squad for the T20Is will include several players who featured in the ODI series.
The five T20Is are scheduled across five different venues in India: the first game is at Ekana Cricket Stadium in Lucknow on October 6 with a 7:00 PM IST start. The second fixture will be staged at JSCA International Stadium in Ranchi, followed by the third match at Holkar Stadium in Indore. The fourth T20I is set for Rajiv Gandhi International Cricket Stadium in Hyderabad, with the series finale at M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru on October 17.
India’s named T20I squad is: Shreyas Iyer (C), Tilak Varma (VC), Ishan Kishan (WK), Sanju Samson (WK), Abhishek Sharma, Vaibhav Sooryavanshi, Shivam Dube, Kuldeep Yadav, Axar Patel, Washington Sundar, Ravi Bishnoi, Nitish Kumar Reddy, Arshdeep Singh, Prince Yadav, Mayank Yadav.
The West Indies squad announced for the series reads: Shai Hope (C & WK), Jewel Andrew, Roston Chase, Matthew Forde, Shimron Hetmyer, Akeal Hosein, Shamar Joseph, Gudakesh Motie, Keemo Paul, Kamil Pooran, Rovman Powell, Sherfane Rutherford, Quentin Sampson, Romario Shepherd, Shamar Springer.
Both sides are expected to play fearless cricket in the fastest format, while fans will have more opportunities to enjoy the clash.
