India and Japan meet in Ahmedabad as Group D action opens at FIBA U18 Asia Cup 2026

The four teams that reach the Semi-Finals will secure places at the FIBA U19 Basketball World Cup 2027 in Pardubice, Czechia, which is scheduled for June 26 to July 4, 2027.
The play-in to the Final Phase is due on August 20, followed by Quarter-Finals on August 21 and Semi-Finals on August 22; India and Japan remain in Group D action through the conclusion of the preliminaries on August 18.
