India's T20 cricket team arrived in New Zealand on 22 October 2026 to begin a five-match T20I tour.
The squad is facing travel fatigue and a tight schedule, with players including captain Shreyas Iyer adjusting to the demands.
The recall of veteran bowler Bhuvneshwar Kumar highlights the team's need for experience in the bowling department, and the tour is described as an opportunity for players to showcase their skills ahead of future tournaments.
