India beat Qatar 3-2 in Nagoya on Tuesday, September 29, 2026, to qualify for the quarterfinals of the men's volleyball tournament at the Asian Games. The victory secured India's place in the knockout stage of the competition.

India recovered from a two-set deficit to defeat Qatar 26-28, 25-27, 25-23, 25-20, 24-22 in a Pool C match that lasted two hours and 47 minutes. The encounter was described as a marathon Pool C match. India had earlier recorded 3-0 wins over Vietnam (25-23, 25-21, 25-20) and Hong Kong China (25-22, 25-19, 25-21) in their opening two matches.
