India lost 2-3 to Thailand in the fifth-sixth classification match at the Asian Games 2026 in Nagoya on October 3, 2026, leaving the Indian men's volleyball team in sixth place.

The match went the full five sets, with the Indians dropping the opening set 19-25 before taking the second 25-17; Thailand then won the third 21-25, India the fourth 25-17, and Thailand closed out the decider 15-17.
