India finished fourth at the Aichi-Nagoya Asian Games with a total of 85 medals, the Times of India reported on Oct. 6, 2026.

A total of 137 athletes across 16 disciplines returned without a medal.

A further 201 athletes won only six bronze medals combined across 22 disciplines.
