India have named a 21-member sepak takraw squad for the Asian Games 2026 in Aichi-Nagoya, Japan, which run from September 19 to October 4. The Games will be live-streamed in India on the SonyLIV app and website and televised on Sony Sports Network channels.

India are taking part in the 20th edition of the continental tournament and have sent a 508-member contingent to the competition. Shooting, athletics and archery were among India's most successful sports in terms of gold medals at the event. India broke new ground in sepak takraw when the women's Regu team won bronze at the last edition, the country's first women's sepak takraw medal at the Asian Games. Overall, India has two Asiad medals in the sport.

The other Asian Games medal for India in sepak takraw was a men's Regu bronze at the Jakarta-Palembang 2018 Games. The women's Regu bronze came at the 2022 Games.

Priya Devi Elangbam, Chaoba Devi Oinam and Maipak Devi Ayekpam, who were part of the bronze medal-winning Regu team at the last edition, are included in the squad and will compete in the women's Quadrant event at Aichi-Nagoya. Their inclusion keeps members of the previous medal-winning Regu side in the national setup for this tournament.

India have named a 21-member sepak takraw squad for the tournament and will field that contingent across the sepak takraw events at the Asian Games. The squad selection follows the country's recent podium finishes in the sport at prior Asian Games editions.

India will look to add to their sepak takraw medal tally during the Asian Games 2026 in Aichi-Nagoya, Japan, which run from September 19 to October 4.
