India’s Sports Ministry greenlights 275-strong contingent with 166 athletes for 2026 Asian Para Games

India’s Sports Ministry has approved a 275-member contingent for the 2026 Asian Para Games in Aichi-Nagoya, Japan, which will be held from October 18 to 24, 2026.

The delegation includes 166 talented athletes across ten disciplines, featuring gold medallist Sheetal Devi and world champion Pramod Bhagat.

Para-athletics has the largest representation, followed by para-badminton and para-swimming.
