India secures record 114 medals at Asian Para Games 2026 with 168 athletes

India won a record 114 medals at the Asian Para Games 2026.

Only 168 Indian athletes — 112 men and 56 women — competed across 11 sports, little more than half the 303 sent to Hangzhou in 2023.

The medal haul surpassed the previous best of 111 medals at Hangzhou in 2023, when India finished fifth, and improved on the 72 medals returned from Jakarta in 2018, where 190 athletes represented the country.
