India will face Nigeria in Match 19 of the Commonwealth Kabaddi Championship 2026 at the Veer Savarkar Sports Complex in Ahmedabad on Monday, October 26, the tournament's fourth day.

India have won their opening three games, defeating England 46–26, Uganda 44–30 and Malaysia 37–23, with the side led by Surjeet Singh. Fans have expressed disappointment that India have not yet delivered a perfect performance, and the team have yet to win a match by a big margin; India are described in reports as clear favourites to win the championship, noting Iran are not part of the tournament.

Nigeria have endured a difficult start to the championship. They lost 17–66 to Tanzania. They then suffered a further defeat, losing 18–68 to England.
