India U-15 to face Cameroon U-15 in FIFA U-15 World Cup & Festival qualifier in Baku

India U-15 will meet Cameroon U-15 at the Hovsan Competition Complex in Baku on Sunday, 25 October 2026, in a qualification match for the 2026 FIFA U-15 World Cup & Festival. The fixture follows India’s opening win over Laos U-15 and Cameroon’s 3-0 victory over Senegal U-15.
India secured a comfortable win against Laos in their opening game, and coach Bibiano Fernandes has urged the squad to build on that momentum. Fernandes wants a stronger defensive display than in the last match while still prioritising attacking football to entertain and match Cameroon’s level. The contest will be played as an 8v8 fixture.
Cameroon began the tournament with a dominant 3-0 result over Senegal U-15 and aim to maintain consistency as they pursue qualification success. The Cameroonian side intend to deploy combative, well-knit attacking play to test India’s defence and preserve their positive start.
Bibiano Fernandes will have a fully fit squad available for the Cameroon U-15 side, but it’ll be interesting if he makes any changes to his starting lineup. Cameroon U-15 are also poised to have a fully-fit unit at their disposal for this upcoming clash.
India’s named players include Jenit Ningthoujam (GK), Pratham Kumar, Nara Meitei Loushambam, Soumojit Sarkar, R Lalremruatfela, Macdonnish Ngairangbam (C), C Lalhmingropuia and Deepak Singh Arambam. Cameroon’s listed players include Sunny Hansel-Ndeh (GK), Andy Massoda, Dexter Manfouo, Ezekiel King, Fareil Ngobo, Randy Ngome, Miguel Mossou and Frank Moubeke.
R Lalremruatfela produced a memorable display in India’s win over Laos, scoring two goals after making clever attacking runs and finishing well. He will aim to sustain that form against Cameroon, requiring intelligent movement and clinical finishing to help India secure a positive result.
The India U-15 v Cameroon U-15 match kicks off at 10:30 AM IST and will be shown live on DAZN.
